I love Christmas! It is one of my favorite holiday seasons. Yes, I love the presents, trees, music, lights, and decorations. But most of all, I love what Hamilton Wright Mabie says is the conspiracy of love! Christmas is all about love. It’s about God’s love for us. It’s about the gift of love pictured in the baby lying in a manger. It’s about our ability to show love for others by exchanging gifts, friendship, and community. I want to be fully engaged in a conspiracy of love. That’s why we started David’s Refuge: to share the love that was poured into us by others.
For the past hour, I have been reading old blogs I have written, especially those around Christmas time. I thought maybe I would pick one of my favorites and share it with you.
