You can still buy tickets for the Taste or Davids’ Refuge and attend one of the most inspiring, fun, purpose driven events of the year.  The event starts at 5:30 at the beautiful Timber Banks Golf Course in Baldwinsille.   You can buy tickets at the door.

Twelve years ago we hosted our first Taste of David’s Refuge.  What began as a simple gathering around good food and a meaningful cause has grown into a special evening that reflects the heart of our mission.

At David’s Refuge, we serve parents and guardians of children with special needs or life‑threatening medical conditions. These caregivers spend their days advocating, supporting, and caring for their children in extraordinary ways. Through our respite weekends and programs, we offer them something they rarely receive themselves: rest. But the experience goes beyond respite. Parents find community and fellowship with others who understand their journey. They leave with renewed hope, improved health, and the encouragement that comes from being surrounded by people who truly “get it.”

A Taste of David’s Refuge gives you and our community a chance to experience a glimpse of that same spirit. Guests gather to enjoy delicious tastings from local restaurants and vendors while learning how David’s Refuge supports families throughout the year. Just as our respite weekends nourish and refresh caregivers, this evening nourishes those who attend and our mission by bringing people together in generosity and compassion.

Every ticket, every tasting, and every conversation helps make it possible for more parents and guardians to step away from the weight of daily caregiving and experience rest, connection, and hope.
