Megan Katherine Overfield

Megan was lovingly known as doubly-rare, having lived with two rare diseases.  Megan had a rare seizure disorder known as Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which was secondary to her rare genetic anomaly, known as PURA Syndrome.  She loved numbers and counting, and she laughed so hard when someone recited their phone number! Megan was the sweetest daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin and friend, and she is deeply missed by all who knew her.  She was able to speak volumes without ever saying a word! Megan gave life to four others via organ donation in her last moments, and we are so grateful that parts of her fighting spirit are living on in others.
