About Amy
Amy grew up between Greece, NY, and Albuquerque, NM, returning to Pittsford, NY, as a teenager before heading off to college. Her early career took her around the world, working in film and television production from London to Atlanta. During this time, she developed strong skills in coordination, communication, and managing complex projects with precision.
After starting a family, Amy discovered a deep passion for community involvement. While raising her three boys, she became an active supporter of local organizations, eventually opening a popcorn shop in the Village of Victor and later serving as Executive Director of the Victor Chamber of Commerce.
Amy then transitioned into the nonprofit sector, focusing on development work that allowed her to channel her love for people and community into helping organizations grow their impact and strengthen the places she cares about most.
Now, in her new role with David’s Refuge, Amy is excited to bring her relationship‑building strengths and deep connections within the Rochester community to expand awareness and support for the David’s Refuge mission.
Family has always been at the heart of Amy’s journey. She raised her three boys Jason, Mitchell, and Trenten and, together with her husband Mike and his sons Jack, Grant, and Clark, has created a blended family that reflects the values of compassion, resilience, and community that guide her work today.

I joined David’s Refuge because I believe in its mission to support caregivers and strengthen families, and I wanted to use my experience and community connections to help expand that impact.
My Dream vacation would be anywhere together with my family!
My inspiration comes from my grandparents and the older generation I grew up around. Their stories, work ethic, and genuine care for others instilled in a deep appreciation for community, compassion, and service the values that continue to guide personally and professionally.
