Christine Rydelek
About Christine
After spending her career in higher education and social casework, Christine is excited to join the David’s
Refuge team. Christine brings her organizational, communication, and counseling skills to her role as
Program and Volunteer Coordinator. She plays a key role in volunteer management, supports program operations, and brings warmth and appreciation to all of her interactions in this dedicated and deserving community.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with family and friends, her three cats, and the wild bird
“sanctuary” she has lovingly fostered in her backyard. She loves being physically active, with summer being her favorite time of year. She tries to be outside walking, gardening, and joining friends for yoga in the park.
Get to know more about Christine
I chose to work at David’s Refuge because I was looking to bring my talents to a meaningful role in the caregiver community. A strong believer in and proponent of self-care, I was intrigued and inspired to learn about David’s Refuge and now that I am here, I am in awe. From its inception to present-day, it really is its own little miracle.
Who says there’s just one?!
I listen to just about everything. Hop in my car and you never know what will be on!
I am inspired by all who courageously persevere through adversity and seemingly impossible challenges. Serving the David's Refuge community gives me an opportunity to honor this inspiration.
